So here is my Burning Man dj set, it was recorded in the morning around 6.30 AM, few people dancing but lots of them chilling around watching the spectacle of sunrise, i spent many years in my life playing for sunsets so i felt pretty well doing it for a sunrise at the desert! playing my old tracks  like "campo de flores" or new ones like "Jellyfish meditation" or "Strangers" at that spot was something very special for me.

I want to thank Monkey Love to make one of dreams real, it was my very 1st BM and the ones who knows me, knows that i had lots of fun! but also for me was one of the best experiences of my life in all its aspects. Much love. Valentin

Treavor Moontribe made his debut with Kalliope on Saturday night, playing an extended set of searing techno while Mona Lisa spat fire and the Man burned. 

Celebrating 19 straight years, Treavor - founding member of the legendary Moontribe Collective, and one half of the Global Bass music project Desert Dwellers - is no stranger to the sound of the playa.   A few years back, Treavor discovered Kalliope and dreamt of playing a Saturday night set at the helm.

This is that dream in all its glory, unedited, as it was played during the Man burn of 2016.

On February 2nd, dance music titan Eric Prydz returned to the hallowed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix decks, taking control of the airwaves for two hours of forward-thinking electronic music. This marked Prydz’ return to the Essential Mix show for the first time since late 2011, when it was recorded live from his set at Creamfields. The reaction to the show on Saturday was so big that it got the Essential Mix trending on Twitter on both sides of the Atlantic while it was being aired.
