Ohio born talent with an ear for all forms of music and making them all complement each other. Active in many scenes BDB served as cofounder to a hip hop crew in his locale in northeastern Ohio, expanding on this grouping has spawned much other collaboration with many other artists in other genres as well as hip hop - soul. Starting as an engineer and artist in the analog era of production, BDB caught the digital bug in the late 90's and has never looked back, trading racks of equipment, synths and samplers for the more compact virtual world. Even in this new environment BDB has maintained a classic earthy tone to his sound, which pulls from the electronic 80's and the soulful 60's and 70's. An analog man quite comfortable now in a digital world, Beat Down Brown's uncanny mix of the organic and synthetic can be heard in all he creates.
