Impermanence is a master demo for 8Dio by Troels Folmann. The demo was created with all three volumes of 8Dio CAGE (Custom Aleatoric Group Effects). It also contains samples from other libraries, including 8W (by V8P), Hybrid Tools 1 & 2 by 8Dio and Adagio Cellos.

The premise of the demo is based on Buddhist concept of: "Impermanence" - the notion that nothing truly lasts forever and everything is in a state of change, hence reflected in the music.

Para não pedir demissão do trabalho, como Engenheiro de Telecomunicações na área de Planejamento Técnico, em 1991, passei o meu "Desencanto" para a música. Com isto, resolvi a minha falta de motivação para o trabalho burocrático e continuei na profissão por 37 anos.

As composições e a perspectiva de que depois de aposentado poderia me dedicar aos meus talentos naturais, a filosofia e a música, foram suficientes para me sustentar no trabalho burocrático. O mundo real do trabalho, dificilmente se concretiza com o que idealizamos para a nossa profissão, o que nos leva ao desencanto e a necessidade de buscar um ponto de equilíbrio.

Score from Toniko Pantoja's animated film "Crayon Dragon". Was really a lot fun scoring this as the film downright demanded a narrative score. This is an extended version of the score as I wanted the player performances to be heard a little better. Everything after 3 minutes is basically an alternative mix of the middle part.
