Kenrick Ho (b.1997) is a composer-researcher based in Hong Kong. His primary interests are broadly concerned with the embodiment of sounds, foregrounding the role of bodies through exploring the multifarious kinds of tensions between performative gestures and its resulting sounds. These explorations take many forms, ranging from solo or chamber works, to electroacoustic music and audio-visual installations.

Ho's music has been commissioned and performed worldwide, including in Hong Kong, UK, Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Thailand and Vietnam. His recent collaborators include Tacet(i) Ensemble, Ensemble Linea, PPCM-Graz, Lotte Betts-Dean, Stephanie Lamprea, Brian Archinal, Mira Benjamin, Heather Roche, and Seth Josel. Kenrick has recently completed his PhD in composition at the University of Leeds, studying under the co-supervision of Martin Iddon and Freya Bailes. Beyond his degree, Ho has also received tuition from Jürg Frey, Klaus Lang, Malin Bång, Toshio Hosokawa, and Ken Ueno.
