The chord proression from the verses really grew on me, I looooove it. There's some kind of mystery to the lyrics, it draw me in from the beginning. Great work!!

I second Paula's comment.  Both the chords and mysterious quality of the lyrics drew me in and held my attention.

I love the groove, it fits the melody perfectly. Such an interesting story to sing, too, beautiful bittersweet message.
