This Merkaba episode features a live set titled "Incantations" by SESEN aka Marilena Samantoura, a widely experienced musician from Athens, Greece. Her journey producing electronic music began in 2005 and she has been creating versatile psychedelic soundscapes that invite either relaxation or gentle movement. Her debut album ‘Juju’ on Merkaba Music, defined as a cognitive expedition to the folklore, bizarre incantations and rituals across the magical lands of the African West Coast, is a wonderful result of these years digging into sound. Expect a deep journey through distinct sonic details with emotional charms, characteristic of this creative Greek artist. This live set contains tracks from SESEN's last album and older tracks as well.

SHŪMATSU NO TANI (終末の谷, The Valley of the End) is the third album written and produced by the french musician NIBANA. 

SHŪMATSU NO TANI is a double album including 18 tracks divided in two distinct CDs, one drived by Psychedelic Ambient and Downtempo influences, the other one closer to Bass Music, Glitch Hop and PsyBass. 

"My goal was to create a self-released and completely free digital album, free of any labels and any fences, evolving from my roots (1st album : Ask The Universe) to newer horizons among the Bass Music scene." 

A lot of influences can be found in Nibana's new album, and few allusions to some of his favorite producers of this scene such as Tipper, Whitebear, Koan Sound, Suduaya, Solar Fields and more ...

Another extemporary & improvised set including tracks taken from 2 of my favourite artists nowadays.
Again ... I opened the 2 folders with their music and, no preparation,no planning, after another indecisive beginning, I warmed up (seems like i need this to get into the vibe LOL  but this time went more in the midtempo range of them both yet playing with different waves in the attempt to show different aspects of these 2 amazing artists who themselves have been able in the past years to create their magical and unique styles!
