Echoes Of Tomorrow (Tam-Jennifer, K2 and the 3, J.J. Terrell)

Hello dear Listeners,

Indeed, it's been a long while since Tim and I posted New Music together as  Shekinah Fire*, but today's the day!

This improvisation was recorded on the fly by our one Stereo ZOOM Mic on April 8th during the Solar Eclipse. 

I am on Tim's ancient upright Grand Piano and he's playing his Telecaster electric Guitar. What came forth as we played were Allelujahs for  the Joy of Spring and the wonders of improvisation.

In case you're wondering about the title, the jewel-like 'sparks' are visible  within the Sun's Corona 60 seconds before it reached Totality, and then as it exited (as captured in the Photo). They're called 'Baily's Beads' after the astronomer that first discovered and photographed them. 

We hope you'll hear the 'sparkles' as the music unfolds.

The third section of “Tome of Stars“ is “Sporogenesis”, a haphazard chronicle of the years 2011–2020. It marks a shift from the cataclysm of “Senescence" into a period of withdrawal and emotional hibernation, its eleven sonnets seeking to reflect the padam of the collection’s bharatanatyam-inspired structure.

This sonnet explores the speaker’s self-aware reckoning with his long-standing tendency to deify the woman he loved, casting her in the role of savior, goddess, and mythic figure, and his effort, however conflicted, to return to a grounded, human perception of her. The poem navigates themes of projection, disillusionment, grace, and enduring affection, set within the tension between the sacred and the profane. Though the beloved remains luminous and transformative, her divinity is now deliberately framed as metaphor rather than ontology. The language moves from confessional regret to philosophical insight, and finally to a kind of devotional realism, as the speaker attempts to honor not only the ideal he has constructed but also the mortal woman behind it.
