It's all about developing a new genre of music - 'Cinematic poetry', in which tempo and conventional music theory no longer hold. I'm a singer-songwriter originally from Georgia, but I've lived in Texas for the past twenty-plus years. I listen to all types of music, so the music I write is a gumbo of blues, country, jazz, and pop.
