IAN GREGSON is a thirty year veteran of the Vancouver music scene and is currently guitarist/manager for Van City Soul Quartet. Most recently I an worked at the legendary Cory Weeds Cellar Jazz Club and managed soul singer Dutch Robinson. 
Ian also played in Northern Soul tribute Mr. M & The All Nighters, he formed East Van Soul Club in 2006 to promote locally grown soul music. In the 80's Ian worked in radio, often meeting many of the musicians that would later influence his own creativity; interviews with Thomas Dolby, Billy Bragg, Level 42 & the late Gary Moore all helped move Ian's music to where it is today. Ian currently hosts East Van Soul Club Radio & Van City Indie,  weekly radio podcasts from Vancouver.

"Northward Faces" started off in March 2013 consisting of singer/songwriter/guitarist Ste Ashcroft and Stu Andrews (Lead Guitar). The band now operate as a 3 piece with with addition of Josh Buckley (backing vocals, bass guitar, drums and percussion). The band perform a blend of ambient, acoustic self-penned tracks along with indie & classic rock covers.
