This SSATB arrangement of Little River Band’s “Reminiscing” stays true to the original recording while adding subtle vocal jazz harmonic flavors. Features a soprano/alto lyric solo (or high tenor, as in the original), and some vocal improv near the end. Lightly swinging pop feel throughout, with a nostalgic mood that mirrors the lyric. Scored for keyboard/piano, guitar (optional but recommended), bass, drums, and optional aux. percussion. Accessible overall, with a bigger voicing stretch at the finish. Best programmed mid-set, though could work as a light opener.
