Premiere: La potencia serbia KATRAN, el cerebro detrás del sello Jezgro y la mitad de Ontal, desata cuatro colosales himnos de techno industrial, impulsados ​​por el ritmo y llenos de ruido, acompañados por un desagradable remix del talentoso 6SISS. Estos paisajes sonoros distópicos meticulosamente elaborados están diseñados para arrasar cualquier pista de baile, presagiando el caos.

El álbum se enciende con intrincados patrones de batería que truenan como tanques a través de un páramo árido y helado, mientras se vislumbran elementos atmosféricos inquietantes, estableciendo un tono amenazador para el viaje que se avecina.

This meticulously crafted dystopian soundscapes are engineered to obliterate any dancefloor, heralding the chaos.

The album ignites with intricate drum patterns that thunder like tanks across a barren, icy wasteland, while haunting atmospheric elements loom, setting a menacing tone for the journey ahead.
Next, a feverish descent into robot’s nightmare ensues, where mechanical drum liturgies weave relentless tension, immersing listeners in a post-human auditory realm.
As the odyssey progresses, doom-laden horns and mechanized drums merge to unleash subversive, devastating frequencies. Just when the intensity seems to peak, filthy analog sine waves bubble through obscurity, pushing the boundaries of industrial techno music to its limits. Annihilation is the word that resonates here.
Closing the chapter, one of Belgium’s finest producers, Peter Adrienssens aka 6SISS, delivers a sinister remix showcasing his hyper-cerebral syncopated signature - bringing the release to another level of chaos.
“Not for the faint-hearted” is no mere euphemism for this EP; it is a stark warning that demands to be heeded.

About
A crossover between American duo The Body, who have been tinkering with noise and metal since 1999, and Berlin-based DJ, producer, and vocalist Felicia Chen (AKA Dis Fig) was bound to make the earth shake. Sure enough, ‘Orchards of a Futile Heaven’, the collaboration’s first outing, sent seismic ripples reverberating throughout the heavy music scene. The Body’s previous flirtations with techno, minimal wave, and industrial meet full steam ahead Dis Fig’s seasoned club expertise in a collaborative project that is also, lest we forget, profoundly emotional.

This intense anthology distills the essence of their sound: noise-driven electronic power, relentless rhythms, and obsessive vocals. For the first time, this fury is preserved on a double vinyl with a special edition.

Foster's gritty vocals clash with Oddie's dark sound manipulations, reflecting a world on the edge of collapse — a bleak view of modern civilization embodied in their uncompromising music.

Nine is the magic number, making this a very special release since the 2005-launch of the artist's previous album, Udefra. So following a busy period of collaborations, projects and performances - Sofus brings us FM Volta: featuring a fusion of man-machine energies, identifying in particular with the modular synthesizer.

From the bizarre and eccentric to the dark and spacey: non-standard techniques in music production have culminated in some incredibly experimental sounds. This latest album is a sonic animation in the truest sense of the word – a painting of sound vibrations inspired by band members: the modular synthesizer, drum/FX machines and mixer.
 
The artist demonstrates a fascination with the 'patterns of sound' illustrated by nature:  “If we look at geometry and the pre-designed elements of nature – everything is already there, so I feel I am channeling that information. So by studying things like the Fibonacci sequence of numbers and fractals – I am simply presenting ideas of how I see the world and the universe. It's all connected – just like music, maths and science.”

From John Coltrane and Hendrix to Autechre: inspiration for music is discovered throughout the ages. The FM Volta album is a revelation though as it follows a nine-year spell of experimenting, studying, exploring, performing and collaborating. It's been a long-time coming - yet Sofus Forsberg has reached one of the most defining pinacles of his musical career with this exceptional new release, in which he unveils a fascinating approach to music production.

The artist will continue to share, collaborate and release new material well into 2014. It's going to be an interesting year ahead. In the meantime, we are happy to share with you this new production from the artist – so feel inspired and watch this space for more from Sofus Forsberg this year.
