"From the early days of the free party scene from brickworks to caves to beaches Ive been there filling generaters banging tent pegs ,laying cables carrying soundsystems known as "Jim the WaterMan" wandering the party with a waterbutt and cup on a string hydrating party people for fun and spliffs,to making music with 303s samplers and drum machines,putting on Chill Sites at festivals in Tipis djing till dawn,to having a little club in our bassment with brick dj booth, to being in bands nobody heard of playing keyboards,to ,moving to Manchester partying at Bugged out ,to having our own collective putting party nighs on ,to moving to the countryside ,to having an accident having to walk with sticks no more dancing the night away,so here still djing in my living room with cool tunes I find with my family and cats keeping it real,I do the mixes for me to play in our van and my workshop,I love to share them with you and to bigup the talented folk who make the tunes ,theres so much cool music out there,Im just doing my bit.Enjoy life its the only one you have :}Jim....."

Through the artist's skilful and deft hands, the storm's natural frequencies are transformed into tools for sonic enhancement. Each storm, unique in its ferocity and timbre, offers a new palette of sounds, expanding the artist's auditory horizons. Harnessing the chaos of nature, they find harmony, push the boundaries of what their sound can convey, and uncover new depths of emotion and resonance in their work.

Biography:
Aritomi, real name Eric Banquier. He has started his musical activities as a FM radio DJ in the mid 90's, on a French local radio. The electronic music project Aritomi began when the radio had to close down in the late 90's. 
Initially, it was a simple experiment with sounds made on a very limited equipment. The style has evolved over the years, from House and Techno at the beginning, to a more minimal blend of Deep, Ambient and Dub Techno, but still quite melodic. 
Living in Japan since 2000, Aritomi has performed DJ sets at "Echo Chamber" events, Dub Techno parties organised by Tsubasa Arakawa and released music on Zero Signal Records, hello▼strange, Solar Phenomena, Slope Point and [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

I have experienced a lot of different electronic types and styles during my musical biography which began in the 8oies as a teen with Postpunk and dark wave and develloped further with Ska, Reggae, Jungle, Drum 'n Bass and Techno. Reggae and the Jamaician Soundsystem Culture had also a big influence to me, after visiting Jamaica for two times at the end of the 90ies...

Dubtechno became a very special role to me cause of its introvert meditative attitude which fits very good to me now in the present time.

So music is much more than entertainment to me and shaped my personality by getting much energy from it.
And this is something, what I want to bring over in my diverse and gengre overarching mixes.

P.S.: I distance myself from any extremist ideas and religious or political brainwashing ideas. As well as stigmatization of any kind. I do this to the best of my knowledge and belief.
