Well I've been DJing for 20yrs the last 10yrs with laptops and my controlers. I've produced tunes in the past but my kits outdated or broken. I guess these two #lovely fellows I don't have to introduce when you hang out in the #dubby genre?! Actually they shaped my knowledge of the present independent artists scene quiet well. And I can say, they are part of my own developement in the last years, in particular because of their continous support they gave me. But if you didn't hear from those two brothers yet: Oldschool Dubtechno Producer are an electronic music collective from Siberia, who create music in the dub techno genre. They strive to create music that is #deep, #atmospheric and #minimalistic, yet #meaningful and #intelligent, #reflecting their #mood, #emotions and #surroundings. 

The guys also manage the Siberian (Russia) dubtechno label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB]. Which has produced more than 60 artists to date from all over the world. The label also releases a series of dubtechno podcasts DUBBISM.

Sins on Repeat

Elemental Vol. 1 moves through earth, air, fire, and water not as metaphors but as emotional states. The songs drift like weather systems, mixing tenderness with atmosphere - acoustic guitars and field-warm vocals meeting the pulse of understated techno rhythms. The production is deliberately porous: wood and wire breathing alongside soft synths and spectral drum-machine traces. It's an "acoustic techno" album in the sense that rhythm and resonance share the same dirt. The songs carry the physical textures of wind in rafters, gravel underfoot, or rain on a roof, yet they shimmer with digital light. This meeting of folk intimacy and electronic timbres gives the album its peculiar gravity - part back-porch confession, part after-hours heartbeat.

Lyrically, Elemental Vol. 1 abandons conventional pop architecture. Instead of verse–chorus–bridge repetition, each piece unfolds as a field poem - free-form, continuous, and responsive to its own inner weather. The writing treats structure as tide rather than grid: refrains return when they need to, not when they're told to. This openness lets the language breathe in sync with the natural imagery that drives it - storms, light, stone, silence - and invites listeners to inhabit the songs as evolving spaces rather than predictable forms. Across the various mixes of its six song poems - We Learn the Sky, Don't Sightsee This Heart, Be a Storm in Me, Til the Heat Is Gone, You Happen Like Weather, and Wild Gifts - the album traces the cycles of intimacy and impermanence, finding in their motion the same quiet power that turns seasons, wheels, and hearts.

I have experienced a lot of different electronic types and styles during my musical biography which began in the 8oies as a teen with Postpunk and dark wave and develloped further with Ska, Reggae, Jungle, Drum 'n Bass and Techno. Reggae and the Jamaician Soundsystem Culture had also a big influence to me, after visiting Jamaica for two times at the end of the 90ies...

Dubtechno became a very special role to me cause of its introvert meditative attitude which fits very good to me now in the present time.

So music is much more than entertainment to me and shaped my personality by getting much energy from it.
And this is something, what I want to bring over in my diverse and genres overarching mixes.

P.S.: I distance myself from any extremist ideas and religious or political brainwashing attitudes. As well as stigmatization of any kind. I do this to the best of my knowledge and belief.
