Dance music icon Sean "DJ Spen" Spencer first laid his hands on the decks at the age of thirteen while growing up in Baltimore, and he hasn’t looked back since. He began his career producing mix shows for Baltimore’s WEBB AM. Even at that young age, Spen founded one of the area's first hip hop production groups, the Numarx. Through the early 90s, DJ Spen was a staple on various radio stations in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. The years that followed saw DJ Spen transition from his hip-hop roots towards dance music. After joining the famed production collective, Basement Boys in the early 90s, DJ Spen became known for his unique style of blending house music with everything from R&B, funk, and gospel. This sound would define his productions for years to come.

In 2012, Spen founded the Quantize Recordings imprint, which has since become a regular outlet for his music and the music of dozens of talented producers. The label is known for soulful dance music productions and has become a mainstay in the dance music community. In 2014, DJ Spen announced sub-label "Unquantize" with a focus on underground and alternative dance music sounds. To date, the Quantize and Unquantize catalog has grown to over 600 releases featuring esteemed vocalists such as Crystal Waters, Alicia Myers, Ann Nesby, Jocelyn Brown, Sarah Dash, Barbara Tucker, and Kenny Bobien. Legendary house music producers such as John Morales, David Morales, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Kenny Carpenter, and Danny Krivit have all put their special touch on label releases.

With a career span of more than 30 years and his famous studio and production work, Spen has become one of the most sought-after U.S. producers, remixers, and DJs. His unique stamp can be found on pop anthems from Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Everything but the Girl, Toni Braxton and more. If that isn’t enough, he has played in some of the premier clubs across the globe, further establishing his status as an eminent figure in house music, both past and present.

About Reelsoul
Born William Rodriquez III, this young artist was heavily influenced by the wide range of musical sounds & styles introduced to him by his father, who's taste varied from Cerrone to Loose Ends. Being a product of the early 80's he was also exposed to various tones of Hip Hop and the dance scene. An avid collector of 45's by the age of 4, this experience continued to have an expression for Will's creative outlet. By 1990 this gifted 10 year old taught himself by ear to play the keyboard and his growth for challenge was further ignited by his cousin's influence of deep house tracks from such labels (strictly rhythm, nervous,) and the rich tone of dance music that by age 11, he was spinning and nurturing his craft of musical arrangements across the board from Hip-Hop, Rare Groove & Underground House Parties.

By 1992, Will was making beats with two tape decks, and a keyboard. This rich musical assortment continued to thrive on his passion for production. As he continued to advance himself in the art of making music so did his sound. His rich soulful debut "Take me to a place" was signed by Frankie Feliciano to his critically acclaim Ricanstruction label. This was quickly followed by a string of remixes for Sole Channel, Home Recordings,MN2S(just to name a few) along with recently signing with the label Sole Channel.( Mr V) Will "Reel Soul"Rodriquez is in high demand with his Dj/Producer/Remixing skills being sought from L.A. to London to mix shows east & west. Some of Mr Rodriquez's current favorite artist & producers (blaze,dj spinna, m.a.w.alix alvarez) he listens to only encourages him to create more music and push the boundaries. Sweet, soulful melodies and a profound, jazzy vibe are what you can expect from internationally acclaimed DJ Kervyn Mark. After 30 years of devotion to the underground music industry, he has carved his niche as a renaissance man who has done it all. The boundlessness of his skills does not go unnoticed in his hometown of New York City where he is labeled “the world’s busiest DJ”. In terms of his music library in term of deep soulful house and perhaps dance music as a whole, few DJ’s have number of songs that Mr. Mark has…PERIOD!!!
He is a gate keeper New York’s soulful dance music. He has produced some of the best outdoor festival events through is Melting Pot Global brand that was started in 2004. He has produced the largest events at the famed Coney Island Boardwalk where is had guests ranging from Louie Vega, John “Jellybean” Benitez, Tony Humphries, DJ Spinna, Ian Friday to the You tube famed event with Sting International that drew over 5000 revelers. He was one of the resident DJs for Jellybean’s “Ain’t Nothin’ But A House Party” for 3 years. When it comes to the soulful house scene he is the only DJ/Promoter to have created and done successful event at public parks such as Battery Park, Empire Fulton State Park, Riverbank State Park and the Frying Pan. No has been able to duplicate that. Through Melting Pot Global djs such as The Martinez Brothers got the necessary venue and press to give their careers the impetus to superstardom.
But there’s more.
He is a film maker and historian. Kervyn is the Associate Producer, Historian and Co-writer of the movie “Maestro-Documentary”; a film which explores the history, the roots, and the spirit of New York House Music. He is presently a producer of another film “Hands To The Sky” documentary turns a lens on deejays, musicians, fans and feelings inspired by outdoor soulful and deep house music dance parties. As an activist he initiated and created the “HOUSE COALITION” float that participates and is the main staple of the NYC DANCE PARADE. Starting in 2009 he engineered and created the now wildly successful “Official Paradise Garage Reunion” that draws 2000 devotees every year to hear the 2 remaining residents of the fabled club

The challenge of never knowing what to expect from a crowd is what drives Kervyn Mark to consistently provide a solid groove and more importantly a spiritual musical experience. And the world is unanimous: Kervyn has been booked for high profile events presented by Body and Soul NY (5 times) Roots NYC, FUNKBOX NYC, 718 Sessions, PS 1, Festivus, Soul Summit @ Fort Greene, Sundae Sermon, and the list goes on. He has played at events attended and/or hosted by Madonna. Yet Kervyn maintains his street credibility by jacking bodies both at high society gigs for places like Brooklyn Terrace(NYC) and at underground grass roots parties like Roots NYC and Funkbox.
