It seems that many of my favourite trance DJs have a habit of releasing ambient and other non-trance productions from time to time. I felt like putting some of those tracks together in a mix, since I appreciate them a lot but usually don't get to play them in my sets. The idea was to have all the emotional soundscapes and spherical ambience of trance, just without the usual percussion. I hope you find this as heart-warming as I do. Think of it as an homage to my idols.

Wisteria ('Blauregen') were in bloom when I recorded this mix, hence the name.

Pau legt seit ungefähr 1Jahr auf. Bei einem @djversity Workshop mit @jlululu und @birch1 kam Paustelle das 1. Mal mit DJ Technik in Berührung und zockte mit anderen Teilis bei den Open Decks der Aftershow. Nur geil! 
Mittlerweile ist Pau selbst bei @djversity aktiv und pusht die Szene <3

// Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Sehr enge Freund:innen von mir legen teilweise schon viele viele Jahre auf. Ich habe Ihnen lange mit Freude zugesehen, bis sie mich vor einem Jahr zu einem Workshop eingeladen haben. Seitdem bekomme ich höchsten und wärmsten Support und bin dadurch bisher dran geblieben. 

// Woher kommen deine Inspirationen?
Ich fahre viel mit dem Zug und höre dabei Musik oder Podcast, in denen über Musik gesprochen wird. Je nach Stimmung gerate ich dann von der einen in die andere, in die nächste Playlist. Ansonsten findet man mich auf vielen festivals, von denen ich auch immer gern Inspiration mitnehme. 

/// Wo legst du am liebsten auf oder machst generell am liebsten Musik?
am liebsten an Wohlfühlorten, bei denen mein Aufgeregtseinlevel geringer bleibt. Also viel Stress bereiten mir noch klassische Club-Szenarien, weniger Stress habe ich in entspannten Orten mit Sitzgelegenheiten und vielen Friends, die dabei sind. 

// Hattest du zu deinem Podcast bestimmte Gedanken?
Die Stimmung soll irgendwie zum Jahresende passen, nicht ins Gesicht, sondern was zum wohlfühlen, was fürs Herz. Ein Gefühl von frisch bezogenem Bett! 

/// Was würdest du an der Musikszene gerne verändern, wenn du könntest?
Das sind vermutlich zwei Utopien. Einmal völlige Gleichstellung ohne Patriarchat und Mackertum, das mir bei meinen Tracks ungefragt flippige Effekt-Spielereinen eindrückt. Und andererseits etwas musikalisches: ich habe mein Herz im Indie-Rock. Ich würde gern Musik zeigen, die mir über den Weg gelaufen ist und die ich für gut befunden habe, so wie das in den allermeisten elektronischen Richtungen der Fall ist. Allerdings möchte die Crowd im Indieclub das hören, was sie kennt. Das mache ich auch gern mal, aber es fühlt sich mehr nach Dienstleistung an, als nach etwas, das ich selbst auswähle. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass es in der Indieszene auch mehr "Draufeinlassen" gäbe. 

// Was war dein erster Tonträger?
Meine erste eigene CD hatte ich von den No Angels. Danach kam dann direkt Bro'Sis. Ich hatte eine Schwäche für Casting Shows... :D 

///Was wünschst du dir in Zukunft von deinem Publikum, der Clubkultur?
danke, dass ihr immer so sweet seid und mir noch vieles verzeiht, aber bitte wünscht euch keine Eisbären mehr von mir!
