You guys are like the kings at making the 303 tame, but then sick when you need it to be!  

It’s about time to release some Techno music again. As some of you know, I also produce other genres as @perdixmusic and I focussed a bit more on that lately. Though, these two babies were waiting to get out there and maybe it was even a good choice to let them marinate a little bit. I mixed & mastered the EP myself with some new killer Plugins. So I’m excited to drop the matured versions now and I can’t wait to play them live once the clubs open again in Berlin. 

Both tracks are characterized by the same driving 1/16 bass line, which gives them an energetic vibe. Complemented with a percussive rhythmic loop, topped off by the shakers, hi hats, and claps. Both tracks also have a vocal. The vocal used in "Aliens" is from a well-known spaceship inventor, who has interesting and very plausible ideas about Aliens. In "Invasion", I've recorded my own voice for the vocal and the lyrics are a reaction of an Alien to the thoughts of the human speaker in the track "Aliens". The Lead synthesizer glues all these Elements together into two powerful and energetic tracks.

The next delivery by @OFF-Recordings is fast approaching and marks their 135th release, which is a revered achievement by any standard.

Label boss @Andre-Crom calls this one The Existence EP with two original works and a blitzing remix in tow too.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the remix by none other than @OliverDeutschmann, who is due a DTMIX in the coming months. He takes it up a notch with a speedy BPM providing an instant energy, that is then balanced with a gothic atmosphere of hypnotic, circular drone sounds. Sputtering hats and an undeniable rolling groove mean there is some real fire power waiting to be unleashed on this one.

Florian Meindl surges ahead in 2017 as he returns once more to his home
base FLASH Recordings. He has been locked away in his studio and is now
ready to unleash his new album ‘Time Illusion’. With these album sessions
Florian has created a special collection of analogue focused tracks which will
be released on a double vinyl album and digitally in the Spring.

Amalgamating his array of impressive hardware, he has refined his sound and
crafted a selection of tracks that demonstrate intricate knowledge and mastery
of his analogue equipment. His aim was to find the right balance between
musical depth and sound design while interacting with the hardware.

In anticipation for the LP release in early April, Florian has prepared a unique
live set featuring a Modular System, the KORG Minilogue, effect boxes and a
909 drum machine which were used in the creation of the album and which he
will be touring throughout 2017.
