Hey there, my name is Julian and I would like to gracefully present this project which I have started and ended from 2013-2020.

Kestrel Moon is the song-writing project of Neville Garner
All songs written and performed by Kestrel Moon
Producing the finest undiscovered pop songs on the planet allegedly..... 
Deep and meaningful songs with subtle hints of folk, rock, pop, electro and good old 80's synth sounds.
Influenced by Rock, Pop, 80's Synth bands, Americana, Folk music, Singer Songwriters of past  & present, Red Wine & Ginger Beer....
Just Like Forrest Gump's "Box of Chocolates"............

I have been writing lyrics for many years, when inspired a set of lyrics can usually be roughed out in 10 - 20 minutes, then tweaked to fit the musical structure. I tend to write initially with acoustic guitar to get the feel and the delivery of the song. Once the basic delivery is recorded I'll build up all the other instruments and layers around the song structure then tweak and edit away until I'm happy with the result.

Kestrel Moon plays Acoustic guitars nylon & Steel strung, Electric guitars 6 & 12 string, Electric Bass, Mandola and Mandolin, assorted percussion, keyboards and programming. 

Essentially I'm happy to perform these songs but ideally I like to see an artist take them on and make them a commercial success. I aim to write Radio Friendly tunes that could work as Pop / Rock / Folk / Acoustic / Commercial Country / Christian tunes with choruses that hook combined with deep meaning lyrics that can be interpreted on a number of levels.
