There’s an ancient Indian legend about the Leaves of Destiny - palm manuscripts said to hold the life stories of those meant to find them. Each leaf, written centuries ago, waiting for its rightful reader to arrive. Frankie Watch turns this myth into sound.

On “Le foglie del destino”, the Italian producer explores the cycles of change, chance, and the invisible threads that bind them. Each track evolves like a living organism - morphing textures, hypnotic pulses, fragments of melody that rise and dissolve as if guided by fate itself.

Frankie Watch is a DJ and producer whose tracks echo across clubs and festivals worldwide. Known for his boundaryless approach, he fuses raw techno energy with electronic depth - instinctive, emotional, and unmistakably forward-looking. With every release, he balances precision and chaos, intellect and instinct.

The EP features a remix by Mattia Trani, an internationally acclaimed producer and longtime friend, and a collaboration with Taube, whose label vision continues to bridge emotion and intensity. Together, they weave a narrative that feels both timeless and futuristic - an odyssey through rhythm, destiny, and sound.

Berlin based SLV DE makes a welcome return to Soma with his latest release, Gestern und Heute EP. Having gradually built himself to be one of the most exciting prospects on the Soma roster, SLV DE continues to impressive with his dark yet emotive sound. This release also features a spectacular remix from rising UK Techno act Cleric.

The melancholic Artefakt opens the EP with its wonderfully crafted syncopated beats and cold, haunting synth work. Kreuzwege has SLV back on four to the floor territory and working a real dance floor burning as tweeked out leads are bolstered by typical powerful drum work from SLV. Jetzt keeps things moving at a fast pace yet brings a more emotive side. Intense percussive workouts drive the tracks with fleeting pads taking the tone of the tracks to other heights. Cleric takes on Artefakt and delivers a suitably punchy, furious rework yet still retains the essence of the original.

Another unique release has SLV DE standing out from the crowd with his distinctive sound.

Prolific Italian producer Kaiser makes his long awaited debut on Soma with a perfectly executed 4 track EP, The Way Back. Having been present on the scene through releases with Planet Rhythm, Animal Farm and more recently his own K S R imprint, Kaiser's style is a mixture of abrasive, hypnotic Techno blended with element of minimalism, glued together with a solid amount of groove. 

Title track The Way Back reminisces to Birmingham-era UK Techno with it’s thundering rhythms and twisted synth hook. Tales Of The Future takes things on a more futuristic tip as spacial polyrhythms build the structure of this very functional track. Ramping up the pace a little more, Loud Cries builds incessantly as impulsive percussion drives this perfectly crafted tool. Clubbed to Death finishes off this Soma debut EP from Kaiser with a speedy broken beat as atonal pads and drones create a densely packed, atmospheric and climactic track.

Soma kick off 2020 with a brand new and captivating release from Giordano. The Berlin based artist has been building his stock at Soma over the past year and this latest release sees him further develop his trademark deep and provoking sound. 

Title track Surface gets the EP moving. Erratic synths and tweeking patterns create an air of dissonance throughout the track and sparse and minimalistic drums create the drive. Lumocolor leans more on a subtle build up of the elements as each piece gradually builds and delivers on high intensity. Fine Point builds on a more groove laden aesthetic as sweeping pads add ethereal elements to the already emotive hook. Closing out Giordoano’s first EP of 2020, 1 Day Left brings a more sci-fi feeling to the whole EP. FX laden hooks gather momentum as sub heavy drums and spacial atmospheres create the backbone.

- We accept 320kbps mp3. Use sendspace, yousendit or thelike. Attention: ALWAYS send us the link with a personal (not automated) message to ketrarec(at)live.it, subject: demo! Otherways we will not even get the link. You can also use our SoundCloud's Dropbox.
- It is important to NAME the tracks and directories properly: e.g. ARTIST-title_(MIX).mp3
- To answer the big majority of demos is not possible for us. SORRY!!! We know everyone expects a feedback for their creative work but we are simply not able to do that anymore.
