SCAR and Artificial Intelligence have been friends for a very long time but its only now that they have begun to work together in the studio and the results have been massive so far. Letting It Go is a great example of how well the four work, a mixture of soul flourishes and screwface mid range riding over a massive sub bass and 2 step drum roll out. Ketan Dave (aka Ketz) was drawn into the drum n bass scene in '99, from there onwards it was not long before the combination of fast paced broken beats, gritty basslines and syncopated rhythms soon took his interest and turned it into an obsession.

Currently living in the UK, raised in Kenya and originally of Indian descent Ketz has managed to draw from a wide range of musical influences to sculpt his own brand of dnb. Over the years he slowly found himself gravitating more and more towards the Neurofunk / Tech-step side of the scene whilst also fusing his Eastern influences to create a distinctive sound.

Since releasing his first single on Dangerous New Age Recordings in Feb '09, he has also signed his music to labels such as Nasha, Trust in Music, Mindtech, Melting Pot, Fallout and Close 2 Death. With support from Radio 1 and the BBC Asian Network, also collaborations with artists such as The Nasha Experience, Kryteria, Zeal & Litta, Bad Ace Inc, Fortitude and Wreckage Machinery the future is looking bright as Ketz keeps pushing his own boundaries as a producer.
