Nina Simone - Be That Way Sometimes [The Reflex Revision]

Originally released in 1982 on the excellent Uno Melodic Records label, this wonderful collaboration between brilliant jazz flautist Bobby Humphrey and the legendary Roy Ayers was a match made in heaven and produced a disco boogie masterpiece.

New mix.
The idea came after trying to put together in a mix some jams with flutes on them (basic, yeah!)... This lead me to add some synth-driven funk, and more groovy tunes, trying to keep a jazzy 'fil-rouge' during all the set.

Recorded the whole (all vinyl), and here it is.
