For our 33rd episode, we welcome Sebastian Borca, better known as Verzila—a Romanian DJ, producer, and promoter with a deep-rooted passion for electronic music.

Drawn to dance music from the age of 14, his journey has taken him through a wide spectrum of genres, eventually grounding him in the rich textures of house and techno. Alongside his well-known YouTube channel, Verzila has been a key figure in supporting emerging talent.

In 2017, he founded Welter Records, an independent label focused on spotlighting up-and-coming Romanian and international artists. A few years later, he launched Inunct Music—an open-access platform dedicated to freely sharing music and giving creators space to express their vision.

Born into a Turkish and Swiss family, music has long been a passion of Cem Sagisman aka Jemmi since his early teenage years. He was 14 when he heard his first piece of electronic music, the legendary tune ‘Body Language’ by Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y.. Ever since then his passion has been ever-growing, taking him to many festivals, genres and events around the world. When he moved to England he discovered a new world of music which had a massive impact on his understanding of music and inspiration. He was mostly inspired by the Detroit and Chicago sounds and also heavily influenced by the liquid DNB scene, and after his discovery of the Romanian sound, his ideas started to take shape for the future.
