This remix came at a very pivotal point in my life. I felt like I was stuck, motivation at its lowest, love dwindling from expectations I couldn't ever meet, and the feeling of never-ending anxiety. Taking those feelings and putting them into a project became very easy after I found "Soft Spot," as it perfectly described this push and pull of what I was experiencing. Using the rawness of JMSN's vocals to draw out the gritty feeling of those emotions really shaped this tune. It gives the life it needs behind crisp drum elements and ethereal sound design! Bringing it back to the basics and showing that not every song has to be a banger...
