"There are a lot of my favorites of 2018 in there as well as a fair bit of classic records that I just can’t seem to get out of the bag. As usual I’m striving to pick records from the more melodic side of techno with the odd housey bits thrown in. I basically love all the records in the mix obviously, however if I had to pick a few records it would be the ASOK track, Bambounou, the incredible Barker track, Kenny’s Remix for Freq, which I recently re-discovered, that amazingly simple acid tune by Donato Dozzy and my favorite soul house record to date, Peven Everett’s 'How Bad I Want You'. I am honoured to be able to contribute a mix to this series especially as I have a long history playing in Melbourne, dating back to 2002 if I’m not mistaken. The great vibes of this city have certainly been in the back of my head when putting this mix together."

Having held down a residency at London’s Corsica Studios, where she played for 9 hours at a time, Ceri has also played alongside heavyweight artists such as Ryan Elliot ,Objekt, Mr. G, and Paranoid London. She has been steadily building her reputation as a selector across the world, including gigs at fabric London, DC10, Ibiza, TreeHouse Miami, Berlin, Mexico and beyond. 
 
Alongside her DJ career, Ceri’s also been immersed in production for many years and is the owner of 'Find Your Own' Records, a label which has featured remixes from Fred P. and Mr. G, alongside her own quality original house and techno trax. With support from industry heavyweights like Move D, Midland and K-HAND the label and Ceri is sure to go from strength to strength.

This mix is a back to back DJ set from Haiku & Irakli together: it was recorded live the past summer 2018 at one of Italian label Out-ER's series of showcases at Fico d'India (an open air free-entry club placed on the Ionian side of Apulia, South Italy).

Irakli is a Berlin-based Georgian-born promoter, DJ and producer; he's founder of the infamous STAUB party running at ://about blank. He was one half of I/Y, he's also founder of Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound electronic label, which released music by Stanislav Tolkachev, Air Liquide, Natalie Beridze and more. 

Haiku is an Italian DJ, producer and sound designer. He runs two techno labels, Inkblots and Raw Waxes, dedicated to groovy, minimal and soulful techno (he produces records by Developer, Tolkachev, Mike Parker and more). He's also resident DJ at STAUB and founder of the illegal itinerant techno party Knick Knack, running in South Italy.

An extraordinary figure in the second generation of Techno producers to emerge from the electronic music explosion of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Cari Lekebusch has sustained over thirty years in music through an unwavering commitment and an unquenchable desire to constantly move things forward. Credited as being the figurehead of the globally influential Swedish Techno scene that subsequently spawned internationally recognized names such as Adam Beyer, Alexi Delano, Joel Mull, Jesper Dahlback, Pär Grindvik, Petter B and Nima Khak. Lekebusch's standing as a studio innovator and production authority is well documented. He has borne many pseudonyms over the course of his illustrious career including; Fred (Missile Records), Mr Barth (Svek, Plumphouse), Braincell (Harthouse) and his electro moniker Mystic Letter K, to name a few. He has experimented with sounds across a range from Techno to Electro; releasing on well respected labels such as Novamute, Soma, Primevil, Harthouse, Missile, Turbo, Mote Evolver, 430 West, ISL, Sleaze UK, Svek, Drumcode, Truesoul, CLR, Moln Records and his own label imprint H-Productions (former Hybrid Productions).

While still in school Cari started his own imprint H-Productions to be able to always have an uncompromised platform for his most personal experiments. The label has since 1986 featured an impressive array of extraordinary sound architects from around the globe and has undergone many changes that obviously are a reflection of Cari's own desire to develop as a producer. The term sound architect describes his work as a performer, Cari is an instinctive and imaginative DJ with a distinctive style that has earned him a loyal and intelligible supporter base. Invited as a regular guest to many of the premier Techno clubs and events across the globe, Cari is most at home playing sets that wiggle between full on peak time exuberance and ever so slightly off the wall weirdness.
