In Romy's dark fantasies, Tim Burton is never really far. Her world is full of real or imaginary ghosts, of animated and lively puppets, of tragic or unlikely lovers. Her tartish voice oscillates, whether in French or in English, between catchy riffs and electronic sounds. Analog synths, powerful bass, heavy drums and punchy guitars, Ghostatic EP delivers a pretty energic pop haunted with melancholy.
