The idea behind this project is something exotic I devised.  While it's a dancefloor set, I crafted it as a narrative in three parts or "Acts".  This set is Act 1 of 3 acts which as a whole, reveal the story.


DROID'S NIGHT OUT - an impossible love story between a male audio research droid, and a female human scientist (who is secretly a sonic sorceress) with a fetish for droids... a tale spanning the gulf between the cybernetic and the natural, between science and magick.



ACT 1: Droids Can Wiggle, Too

A male audio research droid begins a night out, sensing the astounding presence of an unknown human woman from afar.  He later encounters a mysterious woman on the dancefloor. She and the droid develop a curious connection despite their physical differences. A playful and epic dancefloor flirtation develops before they part for the evening, and the droid ponders what's to come as he drifts off to sleep.

Act 2 is primarily focused from the point of view of the mysterious human woman (the droid's love interest) an electro/breaks/techno set titled "The Arcane Arts of Sheila Cyclotron".  Act 3, the finale, will be released this Summer.
