'Mother Recordings charges on through 2021 with another superb release. This one from Italian duo The Deepshakerz features Marck Jamz, one of the biggest up and coming artists in Europe at the moment with tracks signed to Sony Music, PIV, Glasgow Underground, Toolroom Records and Defected Records, whilst Amsterdam based DiVine also links brilliantly for the second offering.

Put You On feat. Marck Jamz is a nice warm house tune with chunky drums to rock the floor. The warped synth and vocals duck and dive to bring movement and the whole thing really pops off.

Funky Bongos then picks up the pace with a more lively house groove, big chord stabs and some soulful female vocals to add another layer of warmth and richness.

This is another fine EP from the ever excellent Mother Recordings.'

Catz 'N Dogz are some of our oldest extended Dirtybird Family, spanning multiple EPs, a couple albums, some remixes, and we even presented their very first release as 'Catz N Dogz' as they transitioned from their old 3 Channels alias in 2007. It's been over 4 years since they've been on the label, and we're ecstatic to have them back with 'The Feelings Factory'. 

'Fine Feelings' features the legendary vocalist Robert Owens, and sounds like a classic deep house track from the late 90's when no one called it deep house, they just danced to it all night in warehouses. 

'Factory Settings' includes additional production from London's Joseph Ashworth, and from the first note to the last its filled with driving intensity and an ascending cacophony of rhythms and voices.

DJ Sneak is an original Chicago house gangster who pioneered the filter house sound and has continued to evolve and adapt over the ensuring years. His I’m A House Gangster label is a go to outlet for high quality, ‘floor rocking grooves and his own powerful sets continue to blow crowds away around the world. Now he’s back with what is sure to become a surefire summer anthem and one of his biggest tracks to date.

The brilliantly frenzied ‘Psycho Killer’ features re-recorded Talking Heads vocals by Franco- American Charlie Sputnik. His standout delivery captures the tortured, freaky feeling of the original as gliding drums and hits form the groove below. Overdriven percussion adds to the intensity of a cut that is guaranteed to make a huge impact in any set. We remixed Jaydee’s original last year as something unique for our own DJ sets, however following big support from the likes of Seth Troxler and Art Department we’ve been inundated with hundreds of release requests, and as a result we started the process of trying to license it. When that failed we removed all original parts and painstakingly replicated them ourselves turning it into a cover, and hopefully a fitting 20 year tribute to this timeless classic.
