At the age of 16 Darin' Bass began mixing records in his bedroom at his mom's house and from there Drum and Bass became the new love and passion of his life. From there his passion and dedication had just grown stronger as his abilities had become better and faster. Shortly after he was playing Drum 'n' Bass in his bedroom for fun he started playing at house parties and after people started hearing his style, he automatically started getting booked for parties for his stage presence and his ability to control the crowd. This was the beginning of the rest of his life! Since his first show on 4-20-2001 Darin' Bass started rocking at shows on a regular basis and in the span of over the last 17 years he has played, he had grown to be the premier DJ of North Idaho and Eastern Washington before relocating to Portland, OR and finally Hawaii, bringing his fury to the decks of PDX and then paradise! Including being the resident dj for Spokane, WA's longest running DnB night, put on by his original production company Jungle Empire, Darin has opened for all the biggest names in DnB, Breaks, and Dubstep that have come through Eastern WA, North ID, and now Portland, OR in early to mid 2000's including Dieselboy, Mason, Gridlok, Evol Intent, Basic Operations, Triage, SPL, Babylon System, Mechwarrior, Dj Fixx, Zigmund Void, Noah D, Dig Dug, Demo, Pooka & Palmer, Zachariah, Nyx, The Dowlz, Soulkid, Rob Noble, MYK, Nervous Breakdown, 3motionz, GRYM, Sonny Chiba, Godz of Thunder (Shylok,  G.O.T.J., Lincoln, Poecaine, Debt and Liar(of the Triage), Keys), Kippy, The Bassist, Grey Matter, Antics and the rest of Portland and Seattle's leading DJ's just to name a few. Along with his DnB skills he incorporates his style of dirty Breaks and Dubstep with Turntablism by laying down scratches, teases and double drops on top of smooth blends between genres. In 2004 after only a short month of practicing turntablism, Darin entered his first turntablism contest at the Guitar Center Spin off and won, becoming the first DJ ever in his region to win using DnB along with turntables. More recently, after being in Portland for less than 6 months, Darin had been named as one of the top 5 DnB dj's in the greater Portland area, gaining spots opening for Dieselboy and Mason. Before leaving Portland he had joined the ranks of fellow dj's Just John and Senseone under the internationally known production company, Konkrete Jungle. After a small sabbatical Darin relocated to his home of Cd’A, ID to team up with Bagdad Alamode to do Hip-Hop and Dubstep under production company UpLeft Records, before finding his new "home away from home" in Hawaii and joining the likes of Sejika and THD, Dj Packo, Matos + Lovelace, MFCoon and others under the Sub.Mission Hawaii moniker! Since then heads have been known to witness Darin droppin' bass, as a frequent guest at the world renowned asylum after-hours club(once voted one of the top 50 clubs in the world) monthly First Bass that brought through most of the headliners, with Dj technique and Nightmarcher. As well as multiple bass music and EDM weeklies over the last 8 years, Before making his way to Spocompton to reclaim his title in the PNW. He went on a 6 week tour of the west coast, opening for people such as Bassline Smith, Raw-tee w/ Werd MC, End.User, Iris, Prolix, Danny the Wildchild, and plenty more on his journey, which got him an offer to head the FRAKTURED HAWAII Crew! His DJing style has been compared most commonly to the likes of DJ's Andy C, Dieselboy, Dara and Reid Speed mixed with a little bit of Craze and Danny the Wildchild influence. He has been recognized as a force to be reckoned with in the world of the “Brokenbeat” whether it's DnB, Breaks, Dubstep, Hip-hop, Top 40 or any other genres needed. His sets are not to be missed! Dig-Dug began DJing in the West Coast underground dance music scene during the mid 90s. With a furious mixing style and meticulously constructed sets that showcase his custom edits and crate digging skils, his bassline-heavy performances are the result of over two decades of hustle.

Doug’s impact as an artist is rivaled only by his work building the Pacific Northwest dance music scene. This Northwest native has helped shape the region’s biggest electronic dance music festivals and clubs; both behind the decks and behind the scenes.

Now residing in Brooklyn, he is writing the next chapter.
