I haven't recorded or written anything in a while, so I figured I'd give an old favorite a shot!

Hey Ya [cover]

A lot of things came together for this song, and I think I was always mean to write it. After posting about ending a relationship a friend posted a quote about the fire inside myself burning brighter than the fire around me, my guitar that I've had for 5 years has a phoenix on it, and I'm currently attending a school where the mascot is the Firebirds. Something has been telling me to write this song for a while now. I hope you enjoy it.
