I was told to write something in here so....I started playing with synthesizers in 1973 and never looked back. I've been involved in instrument design, sound design, preset authoring, artists relations, industrial sound system design and installation...whew...all of that. Here's what I really want to say: all of that was good to me, but honestly, the "business" of music actually has very little to do with music at all, at least the creative side. Sure you can convince yourself of anything's validity when it comes with a paycheck attached, but sooner or later you have to get back in touch with the cosmic radio, your muse, whatever you want to call it, and just be in that space that sent you down this path in the first place. It's not about the money, or success or respect or any of that, it's about the magic that happens in your soul when you create something. You release an energy into forever with music and that's the whole point of making it. Try to remember that whatever your aspirations, because the doing of the thing is the most important part.
