A recording of Captain Tinrib DJ’ing multi genre at the Lower Moutere Scout Hut in New Zealand.

With a smaller population and party folk from many genres, to play Muzak for the NZ party people in Port Motueka we have to go multi genre! Sea Dog x

I was down to play a techno set, though had computer disk issues and corruption so arrived 2 hours later than expected.

1:12 DJ Mark Voodoo Rocks was down to play Psy Trance and I stepped in and said I’d cover him for a bit. Hey You!
1:38 Time for an intermission and to bring in the Horses! (Organ Donors)
1:50 Some seemed worn down by the madness and the dancefloor needed pulling back a few notches.
2:45 There’s word a D&B DJ is squaring to go on. I said no bovva, I’ll get em up to ramming speed.
2:59 It takes time to warm up a D&B DJ. So checked the hold for any D&B oldies while the Bass and Drums are aligned for the disco.
3:12 Time to build up for the wasps…. Where’s this DJ? Stage fright?
3:15 Needed a reviver, time for UB40 and a signal to DJ D&B you are on me heartie!

We are on day three waiting for Spark, with only sonar available. :) (No phone and no internet is quite interesting. We all should do it now and then.)  

A recording of my Techno skirmish at the Christchurch Fetish Ball 2020 on 14th November 2020 in New Zealand.
A dip into the lighter shades of Techno and a journey into the harder shades to see how far they could go. One Hour and forty five minutes seemed to be the limit this night, where I had a request for Billy Elfish, and handbraked to Chasing Cars vocals to grab ‘em back! While I like to keep building, we have to play to a wider audience here in New Zealand!  
This event's main focus was Fetishism and some interesting characters were seen, full of stage shows. 
With a few starts and stops for the stage shows, we miss a few sections here, this is covered by my Warmup Techno mix which I did not include as I feel a continuous mix without gaps is more appropriate for soundcloud.
I started here for 30 mins, then onto this mix:

A big thanks to Glenn Rossiter (the legendary DJ Defender), who makes a huge effort to put on this yearly show. We had a 7K sound system and full stage lighting with lasers. No corners cut.
After 15 years in New Zealand I finally made the gig! Thanks for the invite to play this music, the experience, and hope you all enjoyed the music.

I hope you liked this mix of my favourite Techno music I deemed suitable to Fetish Ball 2020 clientele, including a fair few of my new tracks and remixes made especially for the event.

Notes:
Beginning was on full bore to lure em in, and immediately go to sailors hornpipe played at Newmarket. Early Horse Shuffle.
The Captain believed he was playing to no one (playing with himself?), so went light early to build 'er up. Luckily an notorious rave specialist who could see, perked this Navigator of the One and Twos up. We knew what is what but did not strut. It was like a blur.

2 hours 6 mins in a guy walks up, asking for a MIC. I said sorry clean out, plus I can do this…. Thanks shipmate, this raised me u on the journey for the crowd.

Happy Birthday was for Cindy.

Short dick is whatever you get/ make from it. This was played upstairs at Madisons, Bournemouth where the birds hang out. Always a crowd pleaser or confuser. WATCH OUT - Belly Buttons Operating. :) 

4 hours 44mins is playing for the crowd, knowing the Raver Speed would be just too much, for the mountain goats entering the room tackling treacherous weather. :)
