Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical genres such as metal, punk, shoegaze, classical, and even movie scores, Winter Lights creates their own energetic sound. Inspired by such bands as Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Russian Circles, Deafheaven, and Red Sparowes, they have forgone vocals in favor of creating music that stands on its own. All of their music is original material written as a band.
