Ocktu is the moniker of Bombay based Techno Producer/Live act Arjun Dhanuka. His musical journey began when he decided to pursue his inquisitiveness towards techno music at Dubspot, New York where he studied the basics of Native Instruments Maschine. From then on, he has spent a long time developing his skills as a producer and a live artist and has developed an extremely unique style of techno, best described as a wide spectrum of dark, complex sounds mixed with some soft, melodious tunes. His set creates a sense of balance that beautifully transitions from dusk to dawn. His unique yet contrasting tracks keep him inspired and able to express both arrays of emotions through his sound. Ocktu has released his music on numerous labels from across the world, including Big Mamas House Records (Germany), Ozono Records (Italy), HDR Limit (Serbia), Maintain Replay Records (Protugal), Underground Beats Records (Brazil) to name a few. He also played alongside artists like Arsh, On Helium & Anuj Samtani at the Techno Cruise “All Aboard” in Mumbai.
