You won't believe the crazy adventure I had! So, picture this: I wandered into this deserted record shop, the kind that feels like a forgotten treasure chest. And guess what I found? An ancient disco record titled "Fez," with a label that's practically in code. No clue what it says, but oh my disco balls, the melody is seriously hypnotic. I might have accidentally summoned the ghosts of funky dance moves past. Time to boogie on down to the enigmatic groove!

After watching the news about the volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland, the four-piece post-rock band Laxá composed the first track of their new album as a result. 

Entititled "Eldensgill," which translates as "Fire Angel", it melds post rock and classical elements provided by the Heima Quartet.

Eldsengill by Laxá [Icelandic post rock]

This was after DanikaXIX's Twitch watchalong of Dreamgirls when I made two vocals really quickly inspired by that experience.  Of the two, Kick Rocks is where I consciously tried to do an Eddie Murphy impression as a laugh, and then She's Got A Great Face For Philosophy (CCCV) is more done in my own voice.  The latter got an Alpha Remaster a number of months later to get rid of the awkward 2 second gap after "modus vivendi"

The closest I've come to an R&B vocal.  I didn't expect that writing the lyrics it just started to make sense.
