Release Info:
The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Golan Zocher back for his second appearance. The Colombian born, Israel based artist makes electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. Since first emerging in 2016 Golan has won over progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while landing standout releases via Beatfreak, Clubsonica Records, Or Two Strangers and Proton Music. A well received rendition of ‘Roads’ by Portishead marked Golan’s debut on our free download series in 2018, and now as 2021 winds to a close, he returns with an equally sought after, indie-dance revision of Sinead O’Connor’s hit ‘All Apologies’. The third single to drop from I O P is Higher Place, once again a collaboration with Brighton trio ‘Kuuda’. Higher Place is an anthemic and joyful original singalong that’s carried by on a powerful disco infused house juggernaut. A certain nameless electronic music star loved the track so much he made his own version for Yousef as a gift!  This has summer festivals written all over it. Simply huge!
