Darren “Daz” Jones, aka Mister Jones, started spinning vinyl in his Leeds bedroom at 14, landing his first club gig in Harrogate by his late teens. Influenced by iconic festivals like Creamfields and Glastonbury, he quickly developed a deep connection with the dance floor, crafting energetic, feel-good sets that blend Piano House, Soulful, Jackin, Vocal House, and NuDisco.

At 21, Daz launched a successful business in the interiors and building trade, sharpening his entrepreneurial skills, skills that would later prove invaluable in the music world. This crossover of creativity and business savvy led to the birth of FML (Funk My Life), a vibrant event brand he co-founded, now expanding internationally with a summer-long residency in Ibiza and recognition across the global dance scene. Along the way, he realised his passion wasn’t just DJing, but also creating spaces, curating line-ups, and hosting events that bring people together.

2024 marked a breakthrough year: over 80 events delivered, sharing the decks with house icons Marshall Jefferson and Mousse T, and standout sets at Café del Mar. In 2025, Mister Jones stepped up further, passing the decks to Crazy P, debuting at the legendary Café Mambo, joining the ICN Stage residency at 528 Ibiza, and launching his own full-season Sunset Sessions residency at Wi-Ki-Woo. He also made his U.S. debut in New York City, further cementing his international rise.

This year also saw the release of his debut track “Easy Game” on Kokolores Records, with further collaborations underway to bring his distinctive sound to the forefront of the electronic music scene. Alongside his studio and stage work, his syndicated weekly radio show, Mister Jones Presents: Release Your Inner Funk, broadcasts on LDC Radio Leeds, Spotify, and Ibiza Club News, connecting his grooves with a growing global audience.

With a career that bridges grassroots beginnings, entrepreneurial drive, and international stages, Mister Jones continues to rise as an artist devoted to timeless House Music and unforgettable club experiences.

FR: Né en France en 72, j'ai été bercé par les sons de Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftverk, Depech Mode, Cure et tous les trucs cold et new wave. Viennent ensuite l'Acid House et les Raves. J'ai alors commencé à participer et à organiser quelques soirées avant de partir pour Leeds. Arrivé là-bas j'ai rencontré et partagé la maison de Nigel Walker, DJ résident de THE ORBIT qui m'a permis de rencontrer des artistes comme LFO ou encore Westbam. Après deux ans, je suis retourné en France où j'ai commencé à mixer de temps en temps pour des soirées grand public. C'est juste avant la pandémie que j'ai décidé de consacrer plus de temps à cette passion qu'est la musique en continuant à m'inspirer de mes DJ préférés comme Laurent Garnier, Louisahhh, Dave Clarke la nuit ou Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber le jour et donc de produire des mixes plus comme moi, avec des sons parfois très deep, parfois très techno mais toujours avec la même philosophie, TOUT EST DANS LE VOYAGE ! EN: Born in France in 72, I was rocked by the sounds of Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftverk, Depech Mode, Cure and all the cold and new wave stuff. Next came the Acid House and the Raves. I then started to participate and organize a few parties before leaving for Leeds. Arrived there I met and shared the home of Nigel Walker, resident DJ of THE ORBIT who allowed me to meet artists like LFO or even Westbam. After two years, I returned to France where I started mixing from time to time for mainstream parties. It was just before the pandemic that I decided to devote more time for this passion that is music by continuing to be inspired by my favorite DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Louisahhh, Dave Clarke by night or Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber by day and therefore to produce mixes that are more like me, with sometimes very deep sounds, sometimes very techno but always with the same philosophy, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY !
