Kevin Moore is an up and coming artist who has always had a passion for music. Long before he honed his skills as a singer/songwriter/guitarist you could often find him with a guitar over his shoulder hanging out wherever a band was playing. He had the benefit of having a drummer for a father so music was always close by. Growing up in Long Beach he started playing the guitar in junior high. High school provided the opportunity to continue his musical interest by both playing in a band and singing in the school’s high school choir. He also started leading worship for his church youth group and at kids' camp. Even then he had the ability to take popular songs and infuse his own soulful style which allowed him to develop and fine tune his neo-soul sound. Over the years he has played at hundreds of venues and churches. Over the course of one year his talent has been shared with over 30,000 people. It has earned him a vocal award which included nationally live streamed airtime on K Earth 101 and FOX sports radio. His talent and commitment to excellence has also allowed him the privilege of playing alongside many professional musicians such as Monsta “O” of Boo Ya Trybe, Margis Lee Miles (drummer for Nas), Norman Jackson (keyboard for Jennifer Lopez), and Sandro Feliciano (studio drummer and drummer for Lauryn Hill). As of 2010 Moore is a signed artist with War Records. He released his first album with great success in January 2013. Villafan, a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, began his musical career in coffee shops and neighborhood venues throughout Southern California.  Along with his evocative lyricism and rhythmically expressive guitar work, his charming stage presence and soulful vocal ability captivated a fan base in California which has now, of course, expanded internationally. Villafan’s musical style is strongly rooted in Rhythm and Blues; and it’s through listening to Villafan’s soulful music that his audiences have been able to connect with him so organically.

In 2012, after the release of his Sweet Time and with much encouragement from friends and fans alike, Villafan made a daring decision to fly to Europe with little more than a suitcase and his guitar. After connecting with and developing relationships with some friends in Europe, he was launched into his tour. What followed was a myriad of brilliant performances in a few different countries over the course of several months; his remarkable journey through a foreign land, across stages large and small, would provide him with the inspiration for his 2014 EP, 
“I Still Believe.” Since his return, Villafan has been working heavily on new material in his recently completed home studio space, and we can definitely expect more music and performances in the year to come.
