Kevin Rx - Where We Going

Joseph, better known as GoldenStateKid, is a california based hip hop artist. His music is influenced by his daily experiences and where he grew up. GoldenStateKid, GSK, was born in California and at the age of 12 him and his family moved to San Antonio TX. That’s where he started to get involved in writing songs, trying to rap battle cousins or figure out how to structure a verse. At age 17 he decided to take his music career seriously and got connected with one person that showed him the business aspect of music which only pushed him further to dive into a music career. By age 23 He set out to move back to california in pursuit of his music career and was welcomed by everyone. He started doing shows with a music group called WhatALife and that is where he me his current producer, So-Si. GSK opened up for acts like Ned the Pharaoh and Migos during their “Culture” tour. Within that small amount of time he released his first mixtape, multiple singles, multiple features and even helped direct a couple music videos. All the while maintaining the same humble persona he’s always had. Even after leaving WhatALife, GSK & So-Si founded ConnectTheCoast with another individual and they brought a whole new energy to the area that hasn’t been seen before.. or since GSK and So-Si left. GSK went to a label that was close to his heart and wanted to do one mixtape under the KLMD umbrella and after negotiations it was set in stone and GSK released his mixtape titled “RIPSmurfGod” and even released his first album during the 2020 pandemic titled “AntiSocial”. With a new found brand such as So-Siety, there is no limits for either of them. The momentum has started and is only gaining more and more speed. With more music and material accumulating, the only question on people’s minds is, “When is more music coming?” Until then we, Including myself, will wait patiently with anticipation for the next album release.
