Kevin Sinatra has always been a searcher. Over the past decade, the Virginia-raised and based rapper has been quietly honing his craft, studying hip-hop greats, and expanding his horizons to be a fully formed artist on his debut full-length project Lord Frio: The Lone Wolf. As a songwriter who now lives in Richmond, he excels in the substantive over the superficial, the cerebral over the unchallenging, and the uncompromising over the whitewashed. Most importantly, he’s just as concerned about the past and future of hip-hop as much as he is about the past and future of his country.
