McDead goes on a very slippery slope with "Slide", a wide open post-rock psychedelic experiment up into wide open sound of Americana slide guitar, then way down under to an 'Australiana' style of clipped LoFi production, and beyond. The track sees Kev McDead exploring a wide open musical space, alternated with a narrower way of musical thought. 
This kind of experiment can fail easily; very bad if it goes wrong - but very good if it goes to plan and can "Slide" you down a new musical road for the all the right reasons. Enjoy!

A nod to McDead's 'Technical College' in Colchester that gave him a second chance... after a very shaky start
Plenty of technical-to-techno-and beyond type production shenanigans going on here, as McDead yet again attempts to tamper with the very fabric of space-time, by creating a massive musical wormhole in Melbourne.
After much careful research Dr. McDead has discovered there are three types of wormholes...
1) Traversable wormholes are wormholes that can be travelled through.
2) Non-traversable wormholes are wormholes that cannot be travelled through
3) One-way wormholes which are wormholes you can only travel through once..
Here's hoping 'Technical College' is a number 1

Here McDead draws on IDM/Hip-Hop/Glitch and 70's electronica here... resulting in Hard Lines - a track inspired by good times, bad times, and very sad times - surviving best friends - coming out the other side hopefully a bit wiser. McDead is the musical vehicle of London born producer and archaeologist Kev Edinborough - travelling all over. His music is heavily influenced by the alternative/electronic scene he grew up with working as roadie and then guitarist back in 1990's South East England, playing dozens of dodgy and later not so dodgy venues, before going back to college, getting a PhD and being an archaeologist when not making music. Hard to nail down, McDead draws inspiration from Captain Beefheart and Extreme Noise Terror as much as Steve Reich, Jimi Hendrix and Mr Bill.

The first McDead album was recorded in Melbourne with Plastic Jungle Records at Laneway Studios, with a limited vinyl release pressed at Zenith Records which sold out in 2021. Thanks for all your support!
