We've been wanting to play a dope sexy pool party for a long time now.  This came together on a humid 95 degree day at the Cadillac of campouts.  The vibe we were going for was sweaty, sexy, dirty, party music; but we were reaching deep into our crates to pull out all the songs of years past that we've wanted to hear in a bassy, half-naked, poolside setting.  So forgive us if you've heard some of these in the past, but we were particularly stoked on how the mixing worked out. 

So kick back, turn up the heat, put on that sexy number you've been waiting to show off, and put THIS in your pina colada.

Stanton Warriors Podcast #031 : Basement Beats Mixtape Vol.2

Hosted at the magnificent Chabot Space and Science Center, “Portal” was the most ambitious Rhythm Society All Night Dance Celebration (ANDC) to date. Playing sunrise and closing on the main room, I decided to take everyone on a journey as we greeted Spring.

Opening with @jpodtbc's soon-to-be-released amazing remix of Imogen Heap's Hide & Seek, I wanted to signify, "this is going to be something completely different." The set continues with some banging breaks, and starts its landing with an amazing 13 artist mashup by @robinskouteris, finally arriving on the beautiful @flightfacilities' Claire de Lune to bring in the sun.

At 5am, it’s always a challenge to know how the crowd is going to be but Rhythm Society takes dancing seriously and everyone was full of energy and love and kept the dance floor packed to the very end. Thanks for going on this trip with me.

I had the honor of playing on the main floor at an event aboard the USS Hornet aircraft carrier.  This was the 10:20 to 11:45 spot before an opening ceremony for an All Night Dance Celebration.

My first ANDC ever was 7 years ago at a similar even aboard the same Vessel. It was an incredible privilege to play on the main floor at 2am for this incarnation  of the event.
