Raver, Promoter, Curator, Producer, DJ — a dedicated force within the techno music scene. As the mind behind Solid Dark, a brand devoted to techno-centered content and events, I strive to elevate the essence of the genre.

Drawing inspiration from hypnotic grooves, tribal rhythms, intricate modulated sequences, and deep, immersive atmospheres, my sound and the music I promote capture the raw, underground, groovy and captivating spirit of techno.

With over a decade of experience in the electronic music scene, my journey began at a local youth center, leading to my first club gigs in 2012. Since then, I’ve found my niche within the techno community, continuously pushing boundaries and serving the scene with passion and purpose.

Based in Bern, Switzerland, I’ve been fortunate to travel to iconic and influential places in the techno community, becoming a regular visitor to some of the most famous techno clubs and underground communities. 

Rather sooner started hosting techno events ranging from community raves to mid sized club nights and large venues, inviting international artists as guests, further contributing to the local and regional techno movement.

Tom Since Birth is the alias of Henrik Lange, a Swedish DJ and producer born in 1978. His journey into music began in the mid-80s when his father’s recording studio introduced him to the creative process. By his early teens, Henrik was producing music on an Atari system, laying the groundwork for his future career. After periods of stepping away from music for personal commitments, including marriage and fatherhood, Henrik made a full return 2019, dedicating himself to house music. 

Henrik’s sound reflects a deep evolution, blending cinematic, experimental roots with melodic house elements. Tracks like Insane and My Dreams highlight his innovative approach, using intricate melodies and textured beats to create immersive soundscapes. Recent releases with smaller labels and his foray into DJing have brought him closer to his audience, making his mark on the house and techno scenes. 

Inspired by artists like Aphex Twin, Jon Hopkins, and Four Tet, Henrik remains steadfast in his commitment to authenticity. His self-releases and focus on mastering his craft exemplify his belief in creative independence. With a string of new tracks and live gigs on the horizon, Tom Since Birth continues to push boundaries and captivate listeners worldwide.
