Berlin-based DJ and label head @philipp-drube has been pulling inspiration from his own dancefloor experiences ever since he first shaped his own vision of DJing. Focusing primarily on Hard-Dance music, he moves between trance, fast-paced Techno and  Hardcore – a blend which has earned him appearances at Berlin’s most established venues, including Griessmuehle and Säule of Berghain / Panorama Bar.

He explained to us why he had the urge to set the decks on fire again:
„After some very challenging weeks during the recent wintertime in the pandemic, this set was inspired by the first sunny spring days of 2021 and the emerging memories of some good old and heartwarming festival days. At the same time, the mix gives a hint about the path our label Space Trax will take soundwise in the near future.“

RAWCAST201 • Zanias

It seems that many of my favourite trance DJs have a habit of releasing ambient and other non-trance productions from time to time. I felt like putting some of those tracks together in a mix, since I appreciate them a lot but usually don't get to play them in my sets. The idea was to have all the emotional soundscapes and spherical ambience of trance, just without the usual percussion. I hope you find this as heart-warming as I do. Think of it as an homage to my idols.

Wisteria ('Blauregen') were in bloom when I recorded this mix, hence the name.

The Fragile EP by LSG is pure '90s progressive trance magic. I’s a perfect mix of driving beats and dreamy soundscapes that pull you in from the first note. Oliver Lieb really nailed that balance between energy and emotion here. Each track feels like a journey, layered and full of texture. It’s one of those releases that still hits just right, no matter how many years have passed.

We're excited to launch our 23rd edition of "On Acid" with an incredible set from Aletta! With this set, she will bring you back to the school trance, containing subtle pads, hypnotic melodies, and, of course, acid! 

As a resident of Club3 at Haarlem and curator of her own night, Club Neo, Aletta is known as an artist for her distinctive sound that blends melodic and old-school house, (hard)trance, rave, acid, and (hard)techno. Her music has the power to transport you not just to the golden era of electronic music but also into the future, into another dimension.
Aletta's mixes perfectly combine fast and happy or dark, driving beats paired with nostalgic, dreamy melodies. We’re already halfway through 2025 — it’s June, hot acid summer, and time for a new On Acid mix. The 26th edition comes from BONDE, a German DJ and producer based in Salzburg. Known for his raw, acid-driven sound and deep roots in the Austrian underground, BONDE is also the co-founder of Nachtmusik. After releasing his track Acid For Dinner with us, he now delivers a hypnotic mix full of driving rhythms and trippy acid – a true reflection of his unique vision.
Turn it up and let the acid take control.

BONDE // On Acid 026

The Yamaha TX81z is a great (and cheap!) rack FM synth but without external processing some of the patches can sound a little... flat!
Here I've hooked it up to the Sony HR-MP5 Stereo Effects Processor using a handful of the presets. Each time the dry sound is heard first then the effected sound.
