the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

kfpnyx mixes

joto und aethernal schließen sich in ihrem gemeinsamen live-projekt „lost in track of time“ zusammen, um irgendwo zwischen techno, breaks und sphärischen einflüssen zueinander zu finden. hypnotische synthlines jagen hierbei komplizierte rhythmen, um den unbändigen sog elektronischer musik zu entfalten. eine erste live-aufnahme entstand beim debüt der beiden künstler während des amuse festivals 2024 und liefert nun ihren beitrag zur kfpnyx mix reihe.
neben ihren live-projekten betreiben die erfurter künstler seit 2020, mit drei weiteren freunden, das lokale plattenlabel und die gleichnamige veranstaltungsreihe linie neun.

joto and aethernal join forces in their live project “lost in track of time” to find each other somewhere between techno, breaks and spherical influences. hypnotic synthlines chase intricate rhythms to unfold the irrepressible pull of electronic music. a first live recording, that was done at the two artists' debut during the amuse festival 2024, now makes their contribution to the kfpnyx mix series.
in addition to their live projects, the erfurt artists have been running the local record label and event series, linie nine, since 2020, with three other friends.

kfpnyx 059 is delivered by heimlich maneuver, who is a berlin-based dj and event organizer, as member of the collective "rosa brisante". known for her distinctive club sound, that transcends traditional genre boundaries, this captivating and energetic mix also broadcasts a wide range of musical influences between bass, techno, latin, electro and everything in between. elena has presented her carefully curated sets at prominent locations around the globe, such as fusion festival, hör berlin, ://about blank, cityclub (augsburg) or arkaoda (istanbul).

vy tran ist ein dj aus berlin und teil vom freiland und sonntagsinstitut. musikalisch liegt sein hauptfokus eigentlich auf techno aus den unterschiedlichsten einflüssen. sein sound verschmilzt groove und energie, ohne die tiefen und dynamischen facetten zu verlieren, wenn er seine ganz eigene geschichte kreiert. für diesen mix jedoch wollte vy seine leidenschaft für ambient zeigen und dabei eine ebenso einzigartige geschichte erzählen. die leidenschaft für ambiente klänge mit cineastischen einflüssen stammt von soundtracks aus filmen, serien und vor allem aus videospielen. 

vy tran is a dj based in berlin and part of freiland and sonntagsinstitut. his main focus is techno, drawing from a variety of influences and his sound merges both groove and drive without losing the deep and dynamic facets when creating his very own storyline. for this mix, however, vy wanted to showcase his passion for ambient music while creating a unique story. his love for ambient sounds with cinematic influences comes from soundtracks of movies, tv series, and especially video games.

kfpnyx 057 liefert der gebürtige stuttgarter vinyl dj paul weck, welcher zur zeit in zürich lebt. in seiner musik drückt er sein interesse an dekonstruierten genres aus, was sich auch in seinen einfluss am musik- und kunstprojekt X^x widerspiegelt.  auch der mix konzentriert sich auf  dekonstruierte klubmusik, wobei tiefe und knackige klanglandschaften, welche sowohl klassiker, als auch neue entdeckungen beinhalten, in einklang gebracht werden.

kfpnyx 057 is delivered by paul weck, a vinyl dj based in zurich who has its roots in stuttgart. in his music he expresses his interest in deconstructed genres, which also reflects his participation in the music and art project X^x. the mix focuses on deconstructed club music, aswell as deep and crisp soundscapes including classics as well as new discoveries.

miss take's journey into the dj realm began with creating mixtapes for her nearest and dearest – friends and family alike. many years later, her musical selections are still a testament to her intimate connection with the dance floor, blending hypnotic basslines and groovy rhythms and earning her a residency at former leipzig hotspot mjut and duqo. delving into electro, house, breaks, uk bass in the club, at her core, miss take stands for catching vibes rather than genres. accordingly, she never fails to bring a listening environment to life, utilizing ambient and anything suitable for truly chilling out, carefully curating a mix to set the perfect mood.
