nach einigen mixen der schnelleren sorte schlagen wir mit dj rijkaard, beheimatet bei der @young_shields crew aus leipzig, nun mal wieder eine housigere richtung ein. fließend lenkt er uns durch verschiedene stilrichtungen mit elementen aus disco, funk und acid und schließt parallel dazu die artworkserie von tizian hempel ab, der uns von kfpnyx 021 bis 030 mit analogphotographien unterstützt hat.

dj rijkaard's kfpnyx 030 may be the missing piece for the warm days and nights ahead of us. with funky house tunes and exciting acid lines he adds a fresh and happy summer mix to our collection. he is part of the @young_shields posse from leipzig.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

Monotype stands for the diversity of his own creative work. There isn't much to say about to describe him. DJ and producer, live-act, label founder and an incredibly creative mind. Musically, the journey usually goes from Indie-Dance to Electronica and Italo-Disco.

The likeable from a small town doesn't need to hide at all and has not been completely unknown in the scene for many years, so that his references also cover well-known clubs such as the Distillery or Ritter Butzke. His productions have already reached the greats across the pond so he ended up on Gui Boratto's label D.O.C. records with artists like Monolink or L_Cio.

He feels like at home with the Räucherkammer crew from Leipzig. Anyone who has ever read or seen something from We Art Together cannot miss Tim. With this project he tries to bring together emerging artists of different genres such as painting, photography, graphic art and of course music.

Now it's your turn to make yourself an impression of what to expect as much as we're curious to find out and thankful for Monotype taking his time to gift us with a new Vacanza radio!

"Leipzig is the new Berlin" they keep saying. What sounds like a controversial statement or even insult to some, is an expression for missing the more lose, less regulated Berlin of back in the days for others. One thing is for sure: Leipzig's electronic music scene is something truely special, which brought up incredible talent in the last 30+ years. Amongst them our friend Lydia Eisenblätter who we invited for this month's episode of our podcast series.

"The basic harmony of the heart is energy. If you look around for creative minds in the German techno scene, you will quickly come across the name Lydia Eisenblätter. 

With her energetic, analogue, straight sound, she had a striking reflection of her personality pressed on vinyl, founded her own label and released exciting records. With her label OAM she showed courage and the right feeling for good sound, which is reflected in her worldwide collaborations. During her gigs, Lydia exudes an authentic mixture of honest, heartfelt basic harmony and dynamic, uneven, rough edges of her personality, which make their way onto the dance floor in the form of driving tracks.

Listening to her own releases you will find very personal elements of her soul, which, like the fragments of a disco ball, she knows how to combine into a beaming something. Her unique style has been able to develop over many years and numerous well-known personalities from the techno scene have been her companions and sponsors. 

After her studio in Leipzig has become her second home, it is not surprising that she will release new records in 2022. Look forward to pure energy and joy made in Germany."

Unser erster Podcast des Jahres kommt von NNY, der beim letzten DAVE DJ Contest 2022 auf dem zweiten Platz eingefahren ist. Sein Electro-lastiger Mix ist ein kantiger, kleiner Diamant, der genau noch so viele scharfen Ecken hat, um an den richtigen Stelle den Körper zu kitzeln. Das Interview fällt diesmal allerdings aus, weil NNY das alte Techno-Versprechen von der Anonymität hinter den Beats wörtlich nimmt und allein die Musik sprechen lassen will. Auch irgendwie schön, dass das DJs noch durchziehen im Zeitalter der Selbstinszenierung.
