K Guapo began making music in Kingsbridge Heights, Bronx New York. This is also the place where he began getting into fashion. He was self taught on the guitar, also having Blink-182 and DMX as his first albums to listen to. K Guapo grew up on hip-hop icons like Chief Keef, Lil Wayne, Kanye, 50 Cent, and Tupac Shakur. He was also fascinated with the shock-rock of Marilyn Manson, and Korn. K Guapo began writing his own songs/poetry at a very young age. He would call his uncle to read what he wrote down so he could hear him express his pain and emotions as a kid living in the Bronx with a single mom.

 Since moving to FL his sound and skills have developed drastically gaining attention from Valee, Jadakiss, CashmoneyAP, Bslime, Neyo, and more
