KHBT005 arrives via Al Makhboot, who - in a departure from his usual role as label spiritual guide - has descended from his hermitage to present us with six gritty instrumental tracks. Drawing upon bass-heavy dub and lo-fi triphop heritage, KHBT005 was composed entirely using plundered audio material and a battered Roland SP404sx, and features guest appearances by labelmates and collaborators L.P. Fulano and Yaseen.
