First of all a big thx to the many people that joined our 2 ADE label showcases last week in Amsterdam !!! Our label manager Pedro Mercado started his ADE-set on Friday with the title track of this new Chrom EP by Victim (SE)!

Victim (SE) made a successful Chrom debut in the beginning of this year with their track “Lunae”, which was released on one of our Chromologic Samplers. And now they are already back on Chrom with their own EP, which is called “Oas”.

Victim (SE), a Swedish duo accompanying each other on a dark & melodic journey, delight us with 3 fantastic Melodic House & Techno tracks. The title track Oas is an epic masterpiece floating on an emotional vocal which will give you goosebumps! The 2 other tracks “The Moment” and “Titrus Stabilosis” are pure peaktime power which can set every dancefloor on fire. On top of that we asked one of our resident artists Qarrassa to deliver a remix of the title track, adding some subtle extra elements and his typical rolling groove to the original.

Deep Dive

German music maestro Florian Kruse is next up on Sasha's imprint Last Night On Earth with an incredible package featuring two original tracks and an unbelievably good rework from Julian Wassermann.

'The Tide Is Turning' is a solid atmospheric techno builder, with a beautifully deep rolling groove. Soft modulated arp lines pan the stereo field, growing in velocity and resonance, around minimal percussion and a round full bass line.

Florian makes wonderful use of progressive percussive movements in the track 'Zog', flowing through different hi hats and syncopated hits, adding pace and varied textures. Drone pads float in and out of the track as it peaks and drops alongside a chunky stabbed topline, creating a brilliantly dynamic sound.

'Zog' then gets a hefty remix from Julian Wassermann who injects a wickedly dominant beat, tonnes of creative synth work and glitchy textures. Solid work.
