From humble origins in Detroit, raised on a healthy diet of Motown, Jazz and early Hip Hop – Terrel Wallace (aka Tall Black Guy) has become a standard bearer for the current hip hop beats scene. Through a steady stream of productions filled with incredibly clever sample flips and deft production chops, he has won fans across the world, including Gilles Peterson (who included him on one of his Brownswood Bubblers albums), Lefto, Anthony Valadez, Jazzy Jeff, Questlove and countless others. With the tangible beginnings of worldwide recognition, Tall Black Guy has established himself to be one of the most influential producers working today.

2011-2020 has seen TBG's first vinyl releases with bstrd boots, First Word Records, Ubiquity Records and his own imprint Tall Black Guy Productions (TBGP). Voyage Funktastique is a radio show, a label, and a monthly night, dedicated to Modern/Boogie Funk. Based out of Montreal, Canada, Walla P & Dr.MaD founded Voyage Funktastique in 2013, and have since then, performed in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and shared the stage with Kaytranada, Pomo, Onra, Peanut Butter Wolf & DâM-FunK. They also performed on Boiler Room, and festivals such as Lost Village, Igloofest, Piknic Electronik, Osheaga, M For Monteal, POP Montreal, and Montreal International Jazz Festival. 

The radio show, hosted by Walla P, airs on the 3rd Sunday of the month 6PM (EDT), and is presented by Prime Source. 

The monthly night is held at Le Belmont ; it is considered as one of the most busiest & best dance floor in the city.
