Lord hanuman is the musical alter ego of Miguel Peri, a Spanish DJ born in Madrid in the 80's. He was always passionate about music accepting all kinds of genres, mainly 70s Rock and Electronica. In the early 2000's he started spinning vinyls discovering the House and Techno sounds of the most emblematic clubs in Madrid, London and Berlin. Which led him to the DJ booths of clubs in Madrid, Costa del Sol and Balearic Islands with different akas such as DjPeri, Miguel Control or MadP3R1. In addition to a three-year affair touring the Cyclades islands, especially Mykonos, ending in 2008. 

After a break of 5 years, in 2013 while he was living in Chiang Mai (Thailand), the inspiration of the Thai culture and the traditional legends of the Ramakien, led him to experiment in clubs and lounges in the city with sounds of the traditional folklore music from Southeast Asia mixing it with Electronica and Downtempo rhythms that accelerated to Deep House merged with sounds of nature. And that was the birth of Lord Hanuman (the hero of Ramakien), as his local fans began to call him. 

Since then, he has continued to evolve his sound with folk music, mainly shamanic and spiritual, from all corners of the world tribes and cultures fused with Electronica. 

Nowadays, his musical home embeds itself to the symbiosis of electronic and acoustic music landscapes: Organic, Electronica, Folktronica and Afro. All of them live and unite here peacefully in one spot. Rhythms waft like a mantra trough the vastness of his sound spheres, shallow melodic blossoms sprout and prepare the stage for the big parade.

As he continues to bring musical traditions together for cross-cultural experimentation, he also believes it’s important to take time to listen and not only to create. Quietude holds its virtues.
