Hailing from the East Midlands, UK and residing in Berlin for the last 8 years, David James Burton  aka STRISC. is an Artist, DJ & Label Owner who has been making waves due to a relentless 
output of no-compromise productions that have garnered him the respect and attention of Techno  aficionados and peers alike.

As a DJ he has held residencies throughout the UK, most notably his own brand Freq! which was  instrumental in bringing credible forward thinking electronic Music & Artists to his own city of 
Derby. Outside of the UK he’s played across Europe & Beyond culminating most recently by  opening Techno institution Tresor, Berlin for the Perc Trax label showcase in July 2023.

His label, the already infamous Pure Hate Trax which has featured artists so far including Slave To  Society, Perc, Ryuji Takeuchi, D.Carbone, MDD, Swarm Intelligence, Mickey Nox, EAS, 
 Keepsakes, Gaja, Rebekah & himself STRISC. is fast gaining attention due to its uncompromising  releases.

Perc Trax is proud to announce 'Imperial Leather' the first single taken from Perc's new album 'The Cut Off', his first album in seven years. 'Imperial Leather' is a raw statement of intent. Jabbing percussive techno colliding midway with a giant sized synth riff, topped off with raw vocal shouts from London based metal vocalist Leandro Bastos. 

Road tested by Perc at his gigs across Europe, America and Asia, it's a perfect introduction to the steely dance floor focused sound of his new album.

The album features collaborations with Swedish techno experimentalist Sissel Wincent and EAS, one of the USA's fastest rising techno artists.

Perc - Imperial Leather (Perc Trax)

Formerly know as NN, CVNSUMED is a Cinematic Techno project started in Paris in 2015. The goal of
the project is to experiment associations of different atmosphere from many genre of electronic music
such as Techno, OST, Drum&Bass, Industrial and EBM.

Blending them to create a story line equivalent to a screenplay. From shamanic atmosphere to
cyberpunk futuristic grooves, his production’s goal are to take you on an odyssey.

He founded Demian records with Znzl and San-Ju Ni in 2018 to promote the cinematic techno genre.

They later were joined by Öspiel.
With many released under his belt on labels like 47, Pls.Uk, Arts and of course Demian Records, his
music has been supported since many years by many artist such as Tommy Four Seven, DJ Stingray,
Ancient Methods, Scalameriya, I Hate Models just to name a few.

For KHA021 we are thrilled to welcome back the immensely talented vrov for his second EP on Khazad.

Berlin based vrov picks up where he left off with this new EP. Once again he has supplied expertly crafted tracks which are simple in their composition, yet massively effective on the dancefloor.

Both "Coming Up Again" and "Association" use off-beat percussive stabs and layers of tightly mixed drums in strong rolling grooves that develop and build throughout creating exceptional energy.

The dynamic energy created by the tracks has seen them to become a regular occurrence in DJ sets from label chief Balrog, which led to them being instantly signed to Khazad. His love for the tracks also contributed to Balrog's desire to supply his own harder and more industrial remix of "Association" for the release.

For Episode 022 of the Khazad Podcast, we are very happy to present Berlin-based talent vrov.

vrov caught our attention from the very first time we heard his infectious industrial grooves. He was consequently invited to be part of KHAVA02 and we have never looked back! 

This Berlin-based DJ and producer has very quickly moulded his individual style of raw and uncompromising techno. Through his productions, he develops raw intoxicating tracks with high energy levels throughout which have attracted some great labels to his music including SKUXX, Taro and Insane Industry. 

This same energy and rawness translates into his mixes as he combines new tracks with old classics, though this he creates a unique atmosphere. Get strapped in for a wild ride of raw industrial aggression.

INDUSTRIAL GROOVE IN YOUR NOSTRILS 

Khazad Records is the brainchild of label chief Balrog. 

The concept of the label was born out of a desire to release hard, industrial, and grooving techno, while also providing a platform for the best young producers to showcase their talent. In doing so, this will hopefully enable the further development of this style of industrial enthused grooving techno.

Khazad Records is a wholly inclusive collective. For this reason, every attempt will be made to ensure an even as possible gender balance of artists. In doing so we hope to address the gender imbalances that are still ever-present within the techno scene. 

As well as showcase the hottest talent in the scene right now, the label will also hope to unearth the future stars of the scene through a fully open demo policy:

- All demos will be listened too but must be sent to our email, this may mean that it takes some time for us to respond but rest assured we will get back to you and make every attempt to offer constructive advice if the demo does not suit the label.
- Tracks DO NOT need to be mastered before sending, we are looking for raw talent not the final product.
